LE LIVRE DE L'INTERNE RHUMATOLOGIE
Ce livre, comme tous les autres titres de la collection « Le Livre de l'Interne », est un guide pratique pour faire face à tous les problèmes qu'un interne et/ou un chef de clinique sont susceptibles de rencontrer dans un service de rhumatologie.Ainsi, dans une 1ère partie, sont abordées toutes les techniques d'investigation de l'appareil locomoteur : imagerie (radiographie standard, IRM, scanner, exploration isotopique), densitométrie osseuse, arthroscopie, explorations biologiques et immunologiques, etc..
Puis, les auteurs décrivent en 21 chapitres très clairs et précis, les conduites à tenir devant toutes les situations cliniques depuis une douleur de l'épaule, une lombalgie, jusqu'à une anomalie de découverte fortuite du bilan biologique comme une hypercalcémie, en passant par une mono ou une polyarthrite, quel qu'en soit le type.
Cette seconde partie est très pratique et aborde les problèmes diagnostiques et thérapeutiques concrets rencontrés par l'interne dans sa pratique quotidienne.
La 3ème partie expose toutes les maladies de l'appareil locomoteur depuis la polyarthrite rhumatoïde jusqu'aux tumeurs osseuses en passant par la spondylarthrite, le lupus érythémateux, les arthroses, etc.., au total, 35 chapitres qui couvrent l'ensemble de la discipline avec les aspects diagnostiques, les orientations pronostiques et les choix thérapeutiques.
Enfin, la dernière partie est consacrée aux grandes thérapeutiques en rhumatologie : les médicaments antalgiques, anti-inflammatoires, antirhumatismaux. Ainsi, ce livre est à la fois pratique, actuel et très exhaustif.
